The Growth of data

The growth of data in today's world is increasing rapidly and unlike anything we have seen before. This is mainly due to the increasing use of technology like the Internet of Thing and artificial intelligence, which has led to a massive amount of data being generated.
We can measure this growth in different ways, such as volume, velocity, and variety. Volume is about the sheer amount of data being produced, with estimates suggesting that 2.5 quintillion bytes of data are created every day. Velocity refers to the speed at which data is generated, and variety covers the different types of data, from structured like databases to unstructured data like social media posts and videos. Managing and utilizing this huge amount of data poses challenges and opportunities for people and organizations alike.
